There is very little natural shade, mainly along the edges of the beach where a few pine trees and Mediterranean vegetation grow. For most of the day, the beach is exposed to the sun, so during the summer months, it is recommended to arrive in the morning or late afternoon.
Access to Slatina Beach is not possible by car. The most common way to reach it is on foot from Murvica, via well-maintained gravel and hiking trails that pass through vineyards and pine forests. Depending on the chosen route, the walk takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The beach can also be accessed by sea, which is why it is often visited by sailors and excursionists exploring the southern coast of Brač.
