Grgina Luka Beach – Natural Cove on the Eastern Side of Sutivan

Grgina Luka Beach is located east of Sutivan, along the old coastal road leading to Mirca. It is a peaceful natural cove that is often visited by those who enjoy clear waters, swimming, and relaxation away from the busier city beaches.

The shoreline consists of a mix of pebbles, stones, and natural rocky areas, while the water is exceptionally clear and transparent. The entry into the sea is generally gentle, and due to the cleanliness of the water and good visibility of the underwater landscape, the beach is popular among swimmers and free divers.

Unlike the more developed beaches in the center of Sutivan, Grgina Luka has retained its completely natural character. The beach features a shower and changing cabin, but there are no beach bars, restaurants, or other tourist facilities. For this reason, many visitors come here for the tranquility and the feeling of being in a less developed part of the Brač coastline.

One important piece of information for visitors is that there is little natural shade on the beach. Tamarisk trees have been planted, but most of the beach is in the sun. The shoreline is exposed to sunlight for most of the day, so it is advisable to bring an umbrella, plenty of water, and everything needed for a longer stay.

Access to the beach is relatively straightforward. Grgina Luka can be reached by car via the old road between Sutivan and Mirca, and vehicles are usually parked along the road in close proximity to the beach. After parking, it takes only a few minutes to walk to the sea.

Thanks to the clear waters, easy access, and peaceful atmosphere, Grgina Luka is an excellent choice for visitors who wish to enjoy a more natural setting and avoid the larger crowds typical of the more popular beaches in Sutivan.
