BASIC INFORMATION AND LOCATION
Mandre is a settlement within the Kolan municipality on the island of Pag, in Zadar County. Mandre is a tourist resort with almost 400 permanent residents located on the southern side of the island of Pag with a beautiful view of Silba and Olib and the islets of Maun and Škrda, which are abundant in bays and beautiful beaches. Mandre is also the main port of the Kolan municipality with dozens of berths for fishing boats. The island of Pag can be reached from two directions. By ferry, the Prizna - Žigljan line, which runs day and night during the summer months, while outside the summer season it runs according to the timetable. The other way to get to the island of Pag is across the bridge on the southern side of the island. One of the options for getting there is by plane to Zadar, where you can rent a car for a good price. It is a 60 km drive from Zadar to Mandre. There is a regular bus line from Novalja, which is 10 km away.
CULTURE, HISTORY AND ATTRACTIONS
Mandre was formed in 1991 by separating from Kolan. Until 1921, it was called Velika Mandrija. The white tower of the Church of Our Lady of the Snows strongly dominates the landscape, and the charming little port of Porat gives the town a special appeal.
BEACHES
In a small bay in the center of Mandra, protected from access by speedboats and scooters, lies the Mala Mandra beach - holder of the Blue Flag since 2006. This unique pebble and stone beach is suitable for children and the disabled due to its excellent access to the sea. In addition to Mala Mandra, you will find pleasure on more than 3 km of uninterrupted beaches and coves, and you can reach the uninhabited islets of Maun and Škrda by boat.
OTHER CONTENT
Gastronomic specialties can also be enjoyed in the local taverns Lanterna and Bonaca, as well as in the Porat bistro and the Arta catering business. Find a cool place to cool off from the summer heat in the numerous cafés located right next to the beach, and in the summer have fun at folk festivals in the town and across the island. Those looking for a long night out can head to Pag or Novalja.
SPORT
There is a bocce court and a children's playground in the village. In addition to sea activities, you can run, walk, and cycle. The playgrounds in the Mandrice tourist village allow for various sports activities.

The pleasure of discovering the beauty of untouched nature will be provided by daily organized excursions to the islands of Olib and Silba and to the National Parks (Paklenica, Kornati, Plitvice Lakes), and you can explore the surrounding area on your own because there is the possibility of renting a small boat (rent-a-boat). Slightly further away, Zadar and Nin offer a wealth of cultural attractions.
