Church and Convent of Our Lady of Health, famous Marian shrine in Split. The present-day church was recently built and consecrated in 1937, and it is located on the site of an older 18th-century church. It is located on the north side of Gaja Bulat Square. The 18th-century Baroque Church of Our Lady of Health was demolished in the early 1930s, and in its place a new modernist-style church was built in 1837 according to the project of architect Lavoslav Horvat from Zagreb. The baroque bell tower has been preserved and the monastery building was expanded in the early 1990s. The fresco of Christ the King on the wall behind the altar was made in 1959 by the Croatian painter Ivo Dulčić (1916-1975).
