Borak Beach Bol | Well-maintained pebble beach between the center of Bol and Zlatni Rat

Borak Beach is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained beaches in Bol. It is located on the western side of the town, between the center of Bol and Zlatni Rat beach, along the famous coastal promenade that runs through a pine forest. Due to its crystal clear waters, fine pebbles, natural shade, and rich tourist offerings, Borak is among the most popular beaches on the island of Brač, making it an excellent choice for families, couples, and active vacationers.

Unlike the unique large beach, Borak consists of several interconnected pebble coves that stretch along the coast. Visitors can choose a livelier area near sports and hospitality facilities or a quieter corner under the pines. The beach is covered with fine white pebbles, and the entry into the sea is gentle and gradual, making it suitable for children, elderly people, and recreational swimmers. The water is exceptionally clean and transparent, with characteristic turquoise shades for which the southern coast of Brač is known.

A significant advantage of Borak is the dense pine forest that lines almost the entire beach, providing plenty of natural shade during the hottest summer days. For this reason, many visitors spend the entire day here, combining swimming, relaxation, and recreation.

Borak is one of the best-equipped beaches in Bol. Visitors have access to showers, changing cabins, rental of sun loungers and umbrellas, and numerous sports facilities. Right next to the beach is the Big Blue Sport Windsurfing Center, one of the most well-known water sports centers on Brač, where it is possible to rent SUP boards, kayaks, pedal boats, and windsurfing equipment or attend sailing school. Nearby, there is also Big Blue Diving, a center that organizes diving courses and excursions for beginners and experienced divers.

Several hospitality establishments are located near the beach. Cocktail Bar Bolero is one of the most popular places for morning coffee, refreshing drinks, and cocktails by the sea. Guests at the nearby Bluesun Hotel Borak have access to a restaurant and bar, while nearby are also Snack Box and Ured Beach Bar, where quick meals, pizza, or refreshments can be enjoyed throughout the day. Thanks to the diverse food and drink offerings, it is easy to spend the entire day at Borak without needing to go to the center of Bol.

The beach is well connected to the rest of the town. It takes about ten minutes of leisurely walking along the well-maintained promenade by the sea to reach the center of Bol, while Zlatni Rat can be reached in another ten minutes. Visitors arriving by car can use public parking near Hotels Borak and Elaphusa, as well as other parking areas along the Zlatni Rat road. During the main tourist season, parking is charged, and due to the large number of visitors, it is recommended to arrive in the morning.

Borak is particularly popular among active guests as there are tennis courts, outdoor fitness facilities, cycling paths, and water sports centers nearby. At the same time, thanks to the natural shade and quieter pebble coves, it is equally attractive to families with children and anyone looking for a relaxing day by the sea.

If you are looking for a well-maintained pebble beach with crystal clear waters, natural shade, a rich sports offering, and quality hospitality facilities, Borak Beach is one of the best choices in Bol. Its proximity to the center, Zlatni Rat, and numerous tourist amenities makes it an essential place to visit during your stay on the island of Brač.
