Lovrečina Restaurant is situated just above the sandy Lovrečina beach, in one of the most well-known bays on the northern side of Brač. Unlike restaurants in the town centers, the atmosphere here is largely dictated by the beach — people arrive in swimwear, have lunch after swimming, and then return to the sea.
The first impression is the location. The terrace is located right above the beach, surrounded by pine trees and greenery, with an open view of the entire bay. While seated at the table, you have sand, shallow water, and one of the few larger sandy beaches on Brač in front of you. It is immediately noticeable that the restaurant operates quite differently from those in Postira or Supetar. The tables are often filled with families with children, as Lovrečina is one of the most popular beaches on Brač for family vacations due to its shallow sandy entry into the sea.
A special advantage is that during lunch, you do not have to leave the bay. After swimming, it is enough to take a few steps up to the restaurant, have a meal, and continue your day at the beach. For this reason, it is advisable to arrive early or make a reservation during the peak season, as tables can be in high demand in the afternoon.
Next to the restaurant is the Lovrečina Beach Bar, where coffee, cocktails, cold drinks, and light snacks are most commonly ordered throughout the day. Many guests combine the beach bar and restaurant during their entire day spent in the bay.
Lovrečina can now be accessed via an asphalt road from the direction of Postira, and there is parking available near the bay. Due to its easy access and sandy beach, this is one of the few places on Brač that regularly attracts families with small children, as well as visitors who typically do not seek typical rocky island beaches.
