Lovrečina Restaurant is situated just above the sandy Lovrečina beach, in one of the most well-known coves on the northern side of Brač. Unlike restaurants in the town centres, the atmosphere here is very much in tune with the beach — visitors often arrive in swimwear, enjoy a meal after swimming, and then return to the sea.
The first impression is all about the location. The terrace is positioned right above the beach, surrounded by pine trees and greenery, offering an unobstructed view of the entire cove. While seated at your table, you have sand, shallow waters, and one of the few larger sandy beaches on Brač right in front of you. This is why many guests come primarily for the ambience and the proximity to the sea.
The menu features a variety of fish, squid, seafood, risottos, grilled meats, and simple Dalmatian dishes. Among the most frequently mentioned items are fish risotto, octopus salad, grilled squid, and fresh fish. The food is not designed as a fine dining experience but rather as a classic lunch after spending several hours at the beach.
What stands out immediately is that the restaurant operates quite differently from those in Postira or Supetar. Most guests arrive directly from the beach, creating a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. The tables are often filled with families with children, as Lovrečina is one of the most popular Brač beaches for family holidays, thanks to its shallow sandy entry into the sea.
A particular advantage is that you don’t have to leave the cove during lunch. After swimming, it’s just a short walk up to the restaurant for a bite to eat before continuing your day at the beach. For this reason, it’s advisable to arrive early or make a reservation during the peak season, as tables can be in high demand in the afternoons.
Adjacent to the restaurant is the Lovrečina Beach Bar, where coffee, cocktails, cold drinks, and light snacks are typically ordered throughout the day. Many guests alternate between the beach bar and the restaurant during their entire day spent in the cove.
Lovrečina can now be accessed via an asphalt road from the direction of Postira, and there is parking available nearby the cove. Due to its easy access and sandy beach, this is one of the few places on Brač that regularly attracts families with young children, as well as visitors who generally prefer not to seek out the typical rocky island beaches.
If you are looking for a place to have lunch practically on the beach, without venturing into the town centre and without a formal restaurant atmosphere, Lovrečina is one of those establishments that naturally fits into the overall experience of a day spent in the eponymous cove.

Company Holiday-Link.com Ltd acts as advertising website on this website and not as a tour operator or intermediary travel agency. Suppliers of tourist services who register their capacity on this site, pay the commercial advertising model they choose. Interaction, regarding arranging a specific accommodation or other tourist service, is done directly between supplier and visitor. Visitors arrange the accommodation or some other touristic service directly with the suppliers and pay the arranged service to them. Suppliers are responsible for all entered data, images, prices and more. Suppliers guarantee that they have all licences necessary to carry out the services they offer, and to operate in accordance with the laws of their home country.
