Lučica Beach in Pučišća | Small Cove with Beach Bar and View of Pučišća Cove

Lučica Beach is situated on the eastern side of Pučišća, approximately two kilometers from the town center and the main waterfront. It is located in a smaller cove beneath the road leading to the quarries, resulting in less crowding and foot traffic compared to the urban beaches in the center. Access to the beach is possible by car, scooter, or on foot along the coast, and there are several parking spots along the road above the cove.

Lučica is a smaller pebble and stone beach with very clean and clear water. The seabed quickly drops off, so the water close to the shore is intensely blue, giving the entire cove a distinctly different appearance from the shallower urban beaches. Due to its location on the eastern side of the cove, it is particularly pleasant in the morning when the sun rises directly above the sea, while in the evening, the area remains quieter and less noisy.

On the beach, there is the Beach Bar Treće Lučice, which has become one of the main spots in the cove during the summer. The bar is small and relaxed, without loud music or large terraces, functioning more as a local place for coffee, cold beer, cocktails, or ice cream after swimming. People often stop by by boat just for a drink, as the cove is well protected and suitable for short docking. The menu includes basic drinks, craft beers, coffee, and simple summer snacks, and the atmosphere remains quite calm even in the peak season.

The beach does not have many additional facilities or extensive tourist infrastructure, which is actually why many people come here. Most days pass more slowly than at the more famous beaches on Brač. The water is very clean and calm, and along the edges of the cove, there are flat stone areas for sunbathing for those who do not prefer pebbles.

It is good to know that there is not much natural shade, so a sun umbrella is advisable during the strongest sun. During July and August, the cove can become crowded in the evening, especially when people come for drinks at the beach bar after swimming or walking along the coast.

Lučica feels more like a small local cove for swimming and a quieter summer afternoon than a well-equipped urban beach with many amenities. For this reason, a more relaxed atmosphere can still be found here compared to closer to the center of Pučišća.
