Bunta Beach – a peaceful pebble beach east of the waterfront in Sutivan

Bunta Beach in Sutivan is one of those typical Brač coves that look beautiful in photographs but are even better in person – especially early in the morning or in the evening when there are fewer crowds.

It is located east of the waterfront, within a short walking distance from the center of Sutivan, making it easily accessible by a stroll along the sea. The beach is pebbly, with some concrete sections, and the entry into the sea is gradual and pleasant, making it suitable for relaxed swimming.

The sea is exceptionally clear and calm, featuring characteristic Adriatic shades of blue and green that change throughout the day. A natural shade from pine trees lines most of the beach, which is a significant advantage during the summer months.

In terms of amenities, the beach is simple and unobtrusive – it has basic facilities such as showers and designated sunbathing areas, but without excessive commercialization. Nearby, there are cafes and dining establishments in the center of Sutivan, so everything needed is available within a few minutes' walk.

Parking is available in the surrounding streets and in the access areas above and around the beach. During the season, it can fill up, but there is usually always a spot to be found with a short walk to the sea, which suits the character of the place where most people move on foot.

The beach is not large, but it is sufficiently varied for everyone to find their corner for peaceful swimming or relaxing in the shade. It can be livelier in the summer, yet it still maintains the relaxed atmosphere of a small Dalmatian town, without large crowds and tourist noise.

Overall, Bunta is a practical and pleasant city beach of Sutivan – simple, accessible, and ideal for daily swimming.
