Prbuja Beach – Hidden Natural Cove West of Sutivan

Prbuja Beach, also known as Borak, is one of the quietest and most natural beaches in the vicinity of Sutivan. Located about three kilometers west of the village, it attracts visitors seeking crystal clear waters, unspoiled nature, and a retreat from the more crowded urban beaches.

The cove is characterized by a combination of pebbles, smooth stones, and natural rocky areas, while the water is exceptionally clear and transparent. Due to the cleanliness of the sea and the tranquil environment, the beach is particularly popular among swimming, snorkeling, and those looking to relax in nature. The view extends towards the open Brač Channel, and the sense of peace is further enhanced by the distance from settlements and tourist crowds.

One of the unique features of Prbuja is its accessibility. The beach cannot be reached by car; the last part of the journey must be completed on foot or by bicycle. The nearest parking is available at the western edge of Sutivan, followed by a pleasant walk along the coastal path to the cove itself. This has allowed Prbuja to remain one of the few beaches in the Sutivan area that has preserved its natural appearance and peaceful atmosphere.

There are no catering facilities, showers, or other tourist amenities at the beach, so it is advisable to bring enough water, sun protection, and everything needed for a day stay. There is natural shade on the rocky parts of the beach, and the shore is fully sunlit.

Prbuja is an ideal choice for visitors looking to escape the crowds and experience one of the most beautiful natural coves on the western coast of Brač. The combination of clean waters, tranquility, and unspoiled nature makes it a true hidden spot for relaxation.
