Tatinja Beach – The Most Recognized Dog Beach in Sutivan

Tatinja Beach is located east of Sutivan, along a white gravel road leading to Supetar. This spacious pebble cove is one of the most well-known beaches on the Sutivan coast, particularly recognized as an official dog beach, making it popular among pet owners vacationing on Brač.

The coastline features a long stretch of pebbles and stones extending nearly half a kilometer, providing ample space even during the peak tourist season. The entry into the sea is gradual, and the water is exceptionally clean and clear, making Tatinja suitable for swimming, shallow play, and relaxing by the sea.

The most notable feature of Tatinja is that swimming with dogs is permitted here. As a result, you can often see owners and their pets enjoying the sea, walking, and playing along the shore. This has made Tatinja one of the most recognized destinations for dog-friendly holidays on the island of Brač.

The beach is easily accessible by car, bicycle, or on foot. There is sufficient parking space along the gravel road, and it takes only a few minutes to walk from the car to the sea. This is one of the advantages that makes Tatinja popular among families and day visitors.

A part of the coastline is surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean vegetation, providing natural shade, although it is advisable to bring additional sun protection during the hottest part of the day. There is no developed tourist infrastructure at the beach, so it is recommended to bring enough water and all essentials for a full day stay.

Thanks to the clean sea, large pebble beach, and relaxed atmosphere, Tatinja is an ideal choice for those seeking a more natural beach experience, especially for guests who come on holiday with their four-legged friends.
