Tatinja Beach – the most renowned dog-friendly beach in Sutivan

Tatinja Beach is located to the east of Sutivan, along a white gravel road leading towards Supetar. This expansive pebbly cove is one of the most well-known beaches along the Sutivan coastline, particularly recognised as an official dog beach, making it a favourite among pet owners holidaying on Brač.

The shoreline features a long stretch of pebbles and stones that extends nearly half a kilometre, providing ample space even during the peak tourist season. The entry into the sea is gradual, and the water is exceptionally clear and transparent, making Tatinja suitable for swimming, shallow play, and leisurely relaxation by the sea.

The standout feature of Tatinja is that swimming with dogs is permitted here. As a result, the beach often sees owners and their pets enjoying the water, strolling, and playing along the shore together. This has made Tatinja one of the most popular destinations for dog-friendly holidays on the island of Brač.

The beach is easily accessible by car, bicycle, or on foot. There is ample parking available along the gravel road, and it takes just a few minutes to walk from the car to the sea. This convenience is one of the reasons Tatinja is popular among families and day visitors.

Part of the coastline is surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean vegetation, providing some natural shade, although it is advisable to bring additional sun protection during the hottest part of the day. There are no developed tourist facilities at the beach, so it is recommended to bring sufficient water and everything needed for a full day’s stay.

Thanks to the clear waters, extensive pebbly shore, and relaxed atmosphere, Tatinja is an ideal choice for those seeking a more natural beach experience, particularly for guests who come on holiday with their four-legged friends.
