Located in the middle of the settlement, it was a one-nave church with a square apse and a bell tower. The apse was later converted to a sacristy, above which a bell tower was built in 1739. The church was consecrated after Zmajevic's death in 1768 by the bishop of Kotor, Ivan A. Castelli, and since then the Arbanasi have formally exist as a parish community. The new (present) three-nave church was built in 1907 and was consecrated on June 24, 1912 by Archbishop of Zadar and Metropolitan Dr. Vinko Pulišić. The church was finally decorated externally and internally in 1993. The church has a marble main altar with a sacristy next to the sacristy.
