BASIC INFORMATION AND LOCATION
Northern Dalmatia is located in the very center of the Croatian Adriatic, in the most indented part of its archipelago. It stretches from the island of Pag in the north to the town of Biograd in the south. With as many islands as there are days in the year, it is a real paradise for sailors and for those who are looking for the beauty of nature and millennia of human creativity. North Dalmatia is very well connected with the rest of Croatia, but also with Europe. If you come by car, the most practical is the A1 highway. The coast is connected by the state road D8 - the Adriatic highway. All major tourist destinations are very well connected by bus lines. Ferry ports are in Zadar, which also has an international line with Italy (Ancona), in Šibenik, and Zemunik airport in Zadar.
DESTINATIONS
The most important cities are Zadar and Biograd, which abound in cultural and historical monuments. In Zadar, do not miss the Sea Organ, Salutation to the Sun, the Church of St. Donut. Other tourist destinations are Nin, Pakoštane, Vir, Petrčane and so on.
CULTURE, HISTORY AND SIGHTS
Northern Dalmatia abounds in natural and cultural beauties. We have already mentioned Zadar as the center, and there are also Biograd, Nin with a rich historical heritage, but also Novalja and Vir, which attract young partygoers. The island of Zlarin is known for its corals, and Krapanj for its sea sponges. In this area are the national parks of Krka, Kornati and Paklenica, as well as the nature parks of Telaščica, Lake Vrana and Velebit.
BEACHES
Within these two hundred kilometers, the turquoise blue sea, emerald lake waters, numerous public beaches and lonely island coves, pebbly and rocky, alternate. The most beautiful are Sakarun on the northern side of Dugi Otok, Kraljičina beach near Nin, Dražica near Biograd, Zaton near Zadar, Plava beach near Vodice, Zrće on Pag and Ban beach in Šibenik.

Thanks to the favorable geographical location, here, like nowhere else, you can find so much in a small space. Natural and cultural heritage, diverse catering offer, home specialties of organically grown food, countless possibilities for active vacations and excursion programs.
