The Ronald Brown Memorial House is opened in Dubrovnik on the occasion of the first anniversary of the tragic death of US Secretary of Commerce Ronald Brown and his associates in a mission on April 3, 1996 near Dubrovnik.It is located at the entrance to Peškarija The first floor houses the memorial room of US Secretary of the Economy Ronald Brown. The first and second floors are for exhibitions.On the first floor, on the evening of the reopening of the building after several years on July 6, 2003, the Max Škledar jewelry exhibition was staged. The Museum intends to present exhibits of the Museum of Contemporary History here.The second floor of the renovated American-Croatian Friendship Building is a place where paintings by Dubrovnik colourists Ivo Dulčić, Antun Masla and Đuro Pulitika, the most significant Croatian painters of the mid-20th century from Dubrovnik, are on display. In informal speech, the building is called the Dulčić-Masle-Pulitika Gallery.
