Paklina FKK Beach Bol | Naturist Beach on the Western Side of Zlatni Rat

Paklina FKK Beach is one of the most renowned naturist beaches on the island of Brač. It is situated on the western side of Zlatni Rat, behind its western arm, where a series of smaller pebble and rocky coves extend towards the open sea. Due to its secluded location, away from the main crowds at Zlatni Rat, Paklina has been a favourite destination for naturists seeking peace, privacy, and unspoilt nature for decades.

In contrast to the well-maintained Zlatni Rat beach, Paklina has retained an almost entirely natural appearance. The coastline consists of smaller pebble coves, flat rocks for sunbathing, and the crystal-clear waters characteristic of the southern coast of Brač. A dense pine forest provides ample natural shade, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to relax even on the hottest summer days.

The water is exceptionally clear and a vibrant blue, with a rocky seabed rich in marine life, which makes Paklina very popular among snorkelling enthusiasts. Due to its more open position towards the Hvar Channel, the sea is often a bit livelier than on the eastern side of Zlatni Rat, but this adds to the beach's unique natural ambience.

Paklina is a traditional FKK beach that has been frequented by both local and foreign naturists for decades. The official naturist area extends westward from the tip of Zlatni Rat, and visitors are asked to respect the naturist character of the beach and the privacy of other bathers.

There are no hospitality facilities or organised tourist services directly on the beach, which further contributes to its tranquil atmosphere. The nearest restaurants, beach bars, sanitary facilities, and other amenities are located in the Zlatni Rat area, about a ten-minute leisurely walk through the pine forest. Therefore, it is advisable to bring sufficient water, food, and sun protection if you plan to stay for an extended period.

The easiest way to reach Paklina is on foot via Zlatni Rat. From the centre of Bol, it takes about 20 to 30 minutes of leisurely walking along the paved coastal promenade to reach Zlatni Rat, followed by a few more minutes along the western side of the beach to the naturist section. Visitors arriving by car can use the large public car park above Zlatni Rat, from where a well-maintained footpath leads through the pine forest to Paklina.

Although it is located right next to one of the most famous beaches in Europe, Paklina offers a completely different experience. There is no loud music, large beach bars, or sports activities; instead, peace, nature, and a relaxed atmosphere prevail. For this reason, many naturists consider Paklina to be one of the most beautiful FKK beaches along the Croatian coast.

If you are looking for a naturist beach on Brač with crystal-clear waters, natural shade, and stunning views of the Hvar Channel, Paklina FKK Beach is one of the best choices. Its proximity to Zlatni Rat allows easy access to all tourist facilities, while the beach itself maintains the tranquillity and privacy for which it is known.
