Restaurant Lučica in Pučišća | Beachside Restaurant Away from the Village Centre

Restaurant Lučica is situated on the eastern side of Pučišća, adjacent to the beach and promenade leading to Lučica Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the main waterfront. The location is considerably quieter than the village centre, as the restaurant is not directly on the main square or near the busiest evening crowds. Most tables are located on an open terrace by the sea, merely a few metres from the beach.

One practical aspect of the restaurant is that it can be accessed by car without having to navigate the narrow streets of the old town. There are several parking spaces available along the road next to the restaurant and beach, although it can get busy in the evenings during the peak season, making it easier to find parking if you arrive a bit earlier.

The menu features a mix of Dalmatian dishes, pizzas, and classic restaurant meals. The most popular orders include fish, squid, tuna steak, black risotto, shellfish, pasta, and pizzas from a wood-fired oven. They also offer steaks, burgers, salads, and several grilled dishes, which attracts many patrons due to the diverse selection. Food photographs often showcase platters of fish, mussels in a tomato sauce, octopus, and pizzas topped with prosciutto.

In terms of beverages, they provide a standard selection of wines, cocktails, beers, and soft drinks. The wine list primarily features Dalmatian labels that pair well with the seafood dishes. Throughout the day, many visitors come here just for a drink or coffee after swimming, as the terrace effectively serves as an extension of the beach.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is much more relaxed compared to the more formal establishments in the centre of Pučišća. During the day, it is frequented by bathers and families with children, while in the evening, the terrace becomes busier with diners enjoying meals by the sea. The music is generally unobtrusive, and the space lacks the typical bar noise found along the waterfront in the village centre.

It is worth noting that during July and August, there can be quite a wait for tables in the evening without a reservation, especially for those by the sea. The kitchen operates all day, which is not common in smaller towns on Brač, making Lučica a convenient option for a late lunch after a day at the beach.

Restaurant Lučica functions more as a traditional family restaurant by the beach rather than a tavern or fine dining venue. People generally visit for the seaside location, extensive menu, and the opportunity to stay for lunch or dinner after swimming without having to return to the centre of Pučišća.
