Beach Bar Kokomo – a Relaxed Beach Bar at Zastup Beach

Beach Bar Kokomo is situated right by Zastup Beach, in a lovely cove between Supetar and Splitska. Just a few steps from the sea, it serves as a convenient spot for morning coffee, a refreshing drink while swimming, a light snack, or an evening cocktail.

The bar follows the laid-back rhythm of the beach and operates from morning until evening. During the day, it caters primarily to bathers looking for a break without leaving the cove, while later in the afternoon and evening, it becomes a pleasant place for a drink as the beach quietens down and the heat of the day subsides.

Food at Beach Bar Kokomo

The food menu is simple and tailored for a beach setting. Offerings include chips with ketchup or mayonnaise, chicken nuggets, ham and cheese toast, and pancakes with Nutella.

For something lighter, there are croissants or a bowl of fresh fruit. Kokomo is not a restaurant with an extensive menu, but it provides enough options for a quick breakfast, snack, or a simple meal between swims.

Coffee, Juices, and Other Soft Drinks

The coffee selection is quite broad for a beach bar. They offer espresso, Americano, coffee with milk, cappuccino, caffe latte, crema café, iced coffee, and several other variations of hot drinks.

As for soft drinks, there are classic fizzy drinks, iced tea, Cedevita, fruit juices, freshly squeezed juice, Hydra, energy drinks, as well as mineral and still water.

Beer, Wine, and Cocktails

KOKOMO has a good selection of drinks for the late afternoon and evening. They serve both draught and bottled Ožujsko, Ožujsko Radler, Stella Artois, Corona, non-alcoholic Corona Cero, Heineken, and Aspall.

White and red wine is available by the glass and bottle, along with a selection of spirits and local liqueurs such as pelinkovac, orahovac, medica, travarica, višnjevac, and teranino.

Cocktails include Mojito, Moscow Mule, Aperol Spritz, Teranino Spritz, and Hugo, making KOKOMO appealing not just for daytime swimming but also for evening drinks by the sea.

Zastup Beach

Zastup Beach is one of the more popular beaches in the vicinity of Splitska. The central part of the cove features a pebble beach, while rocky shores extend towards the edges. The water is clear, and the pine trees and Mediterranean vegetation in the background create a pleasant summer atmosphere.

KOKOMO is located right next to the main part of the beach, which is a significant advantage if you plan to spend several hours or the entire day at Zastup.

How to Get There

Access to Zastup Beach and Beach Bar Kokomo is via the road connecting Supetar and Splitska. If coming from Supetar, the entrance to the cove is just before you reach Splitska.

It is approximately one kilometre from the centre of Splitska. While it is possible to walk, during the hottest part of summer, a car, scooter, or bicycle is more practical.

Parking

You can park your car in the area above the beach and along the access road to the cove. It is not a large, organised car park with many marked spaces, so during July and August, available space may be limited.

If you are driving to Zastup during the peak season, it is advisable to arrive earlier in the day.
