Arena in Pula is the largest Croatian monument from the time of ancient architecture. Arena or amphitheater is one of the most preserved Roman amphitheaters and also is the sixth largest in the world. It was built in several periods, during the first century, during the Roman Emperor Augustus and the Stone age. Arena is now a tourist attraction of Pula, Istria and Croatia. Nowadays there are every year held Film Festival, Opera, Equestrian Festival and lot of concerts. Arena can accommodate about 5,000 visitors up to event. Working hours of arena depends on the month when you want to visit it. For example, in July and August, opening hours are from 08:00 to 24:00 while the rest of the season it changes. Throughout the year the arena is open 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. hours. The ticket price is about 5 Euro (40 Kuna) for adults and 2.50 Euros (20 Kuna) for students.
