In the beginning of last century, my grandfather Petar leaves the north Istrian village of Motovun and comes to small village of Fuškulin-Foscolino. He was working as a wage earner and later met his future wife Marija Ferlič. He started buying land piece after piece and on the stingy Istrian red soil planting vine and olives. With only his work, he managed to feed hungry 8 mouths of his family and bring up his children. As the years passed by, his two sons continued his work tradition. One of them, my father Petar, got his own family in 1968 and starts with cattle breeding and cheese producing in 1971. The same cheese continued its sale at Poreč market for the following 40 years. Tourism started developing in 1970s and demand for home products rises. That gave new ideas of starting own vegetable and fruit production.

In the end of 1990 I built my own nursery garden and greenhouse on 500m2 and I started planting olives on a land of 3 acres. Today I produce vegetable in the greenhouse and on 1,5 Ha of open land all year round. There are extra virgin olive oils crowned with gold medals.

My plan for the future is to open small tavern for oil testing, as well as for sail on my own ground. Few apartments should take their own place there as well.
