Parish Church of Saint Marco is a medieval building (carved on the front door in 1572) with a separate bell tower. In 1680 it was rebuilt. It is located on a small, city-facing, most elevated, acropolis-walled plateau. The church and bell tower, and a small cemetery, are surrounded by a wall and the remains of fortifications. According to Kobler, the construction of the parish church dates from the 14th century, at the time of the Counts of Devin, when the parish church of Veprinac was built by Ana Stell or Elizabeth Devinska, who lived in Veprinac and was stored in 1405 in Rijeka Cathedral. The façade is decorated with classical decorations, and above the portal is an inscription that testifies to the last restoration of the church in 1849. In the church there are rustic - baroque choir benches of rustic decoration, as a significant example of Zirer 's carving.
