The church of St. Nicholas was built in 1889 in Neo-Romanesque style with a beautiful bell tower. In 1903 the church a wooden choir was built and later was replaced by a concrete one in 1971. The church was renovated in 1927 and then an artist called F. Andreis painted the figure of St. Nicholas on the ceiling. Ante Frank, a stone artist from Split made three stone altars with marble sections, the Great, Our Lady and St. Nicholas, from 1936 to 1939. The small church in Baska Voda was declared a cultural monument in 1969.
