BASIC INFORMATION AND LOCATION

Prožurska Luka is a relatively young settlement located on the northern side of the island of Mljet. The ferry port in Sobra is only 5 km away, and the nearest airport is in Dubrovnik.

CULTURE

Prožurska Luka has only been inhabited since 1981 as a fishing port, previously this area served the inhabitants of Prožura (a settlement on the mainland above Prožurska Luka) for fishing and storing fishing gear. Today Prožurska Luka is a separate tourist destination, the settlement has a small population and the economy is mainly based on fishing, tourism and catering. In the aforementioned settlement of Prožura, it is worth seeing and visiting sights such as: the church of the Holy Trinity, the church of St. Martin and the church of St. Nicholas.

BEACHES

There is a small pebble beach in the village that is very popular among families, and nearby there are local taverns with beautiful views.

Prožurska Luka is a peaceful village that offers peace, excellent local specialties, a beautifully landscaped pebble beach and beautiful scenery. You can try excellent specialties at Marija's tavern or Barba's tavern.

SPORT

In the resort, you can enjoy water activities and walks. Many tourists also like to go on cycling routes, therefore we suggest the famous cycling route Prožurska Luka-Saplunara, which starts right in this settlement.

SIGHTSEEING, EXCURSIONS

The island of Mljet truly offers a wealth of possibilities, there are many sights and beautiful scenes to experience, including: Odysseus' Cave, Mljet National Park, Saplunara (which contains the two most famous and, according to many, the most beautiful sandy beaches).
