Dubrovnik Republic (lat. Respublica Ragusina) was a patrician states emerged from the medieval commune. It was located in the area of ​​Dubrovnik and its immediate mainland and island surroundings. It included most of present-day Dubrovnik-Neretva County. It was abolished in the time of Napoleon's expansion throughout Europe, namely 31 January 1808.
