Dominican Monastery in Bol | Historic Monastery, Museum and Church of Our Lady of Mercy

The Dominican Monastery in Bol is one of the most valuable cultural and historical landmarks on the island of Brač, making it a must-visit for those keen to learn about the rich history, art, and spiritual heritage of Dalmatia. The monastery is open to visitors, allowing access to the church, cloister, and museum exhibits. According to current information, it operates daily during the season from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 18:00 to 20:00. It is advisable to check the ticket price before visiting, as it may vary from season to season.

One of the monastery's greatest assets is its unique location by the sea. From the area in front of the monastery, there are stunning views of Martinica beach, the Hvar Channel, and the island of Hvar, while the centuries-old cypress trees and the tranquil monastery courtyard create a distinct Mediterranean atmosphere.
