Murvica Beach is regarded as one of the most beautiful natural beaches on the island of Brač. It is located in a bay of the same name, approximately 5 kilometres west of Bol. Access to Murvica Beach is via an asphalt road from Bol, and there is a public car park just above the beach, which incurs a fee during the tourist season. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the car park to the sea along a well-maintained path. However, the return journey from the beach involves a steep and challenging ascent. Murvica can also be reached by bicycle or on foot, but due to the distance and incline, most visitors opt to drive.
In addition to swimming, Murvica serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding area. Above the village are the famous Dragon's Cave and the remains of medieval hermitages, while the nearby slopes conceal some of the oldest vineyards on Brač, known for producing the renowned Stina wine. Nature lovers can explore numerous hiking trails leading to Vidova Gora and other viewpoints on the southern side of the island.
Although Murvica is quite popular in July and August, it maintains a calmer atmosphere compared to the beaches in Bol itself.
