Erot Beach (4 Pinjola) – A Hidden Cove at the Far West of Sutivan

Erot Beach, also known as 4 Pinjola, is situated at the extreme western part of the Sutivan coastline, away from the village centre and the most frequented urban beaches. Located along the coastal road leading to the western coves, this small natural cove attracts visitors seeking peace, clear waters, and an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.

The name 4 Pinjola derives from the four distinctive pines that stand right by the shore, serving as one of the notable symbols of this location. These trees are among the few sources of natural shade in this area, providing a pleasant spot to rest during the hot summer days.

The coastline consists of a mix of natural rocks, stone plateaus, and smaller pebbly sections suitable for entering the water. The sea is exceptionally clear and transparent, and due to its distance from settlements and fewer visitors, it often appears almost untouched. The view towards the open Brač Channel and the western coast of the island further enhances the sense of tranquillity and seclusion.

There are no catering facilities, showers, changing cabins, or other tourist amenities at the beach. Visitors typically arrive prepared for a full day, as this is one of the most natural bathing spots in the vicinity of Sutivan.

The beach can be accessed on foot or by bicycle along the coastal path from Sutivan, while cars can be parked in the gravel lay-bys near the western coves. The final part of the journey must be completed on foot.

Thanks to its clear waters, peaceful atmosphere, and location away from tourist crowds, Erot, or 4 Pinjola, is one of the most beautiful swimming spots on the western coast of Sutivan. It is particularly appreciated by nature lovers, swimmers, and those seeking hidden coves that still retain an authentic island character. The beach is unofficially a naturist spot where nudists also swim.
