Mostir is a small sandy beach in the center of town of Ugljan on the island of Ugljan. Ugljan island is the closest one to Zadar of the archipelago of northern Dalmatian islands. Ugljan is connected to the mainland by ferry and boat driving daily to Preko. Preko and Ugljan town are connected by bus. Mostir is ideal for playing in the shallow waters, which are suitable for children. One can also play beach volleyball here. On the beach there are showers, changing rooms, a ramp for the disabled people and a floating fence that protects swimmers from boats. The beach is located next to the monastery of St. Jerome which has a large pine in front that gives a natural shade. Further towards the center of Ugljan town, the beach becomes rocky. It is located 500 meters from the centre of Ugljan.
