Church of St. Helena in Dramalj was built on the site of the old chapel, which was bof baroque style. It was expanded in the 18th century, when Dramalj was the chapel of the parish of Belgrade. In 1796, the famous Rijeka artist Giuseppe Capovilla designed a marble altar for it. The Parish of St. Jelena was founded in 1809, while the Parish House and St. Jelena's Church were built after 1812. In the 19th century, the interior of the church was decorated, in 1837 a pulpit and in 1845 the main altar.
