Beach Bar Africa is situated on the northern coast of Šolta, west of the centre of Stomorska, along the coastal road Veli Dolac. It is positioned right above the sea, next to a small pebble beach known as Veli Dolac, which is often referred to as Africa beach. The bar is approximately 1.1 to 1.3 kilometres from the main quay and the central part of the harbour, depending on your starting point, which means it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk there.

To reach Beach Bar Africa from Stomorska, follow the coast heading west. The path primarily runs along a local asphalt road past houses and apartments. Access to the bar can be made by car, scooter, bicycle, or on foot, but the road is narrow in some sections, and space along the coast is limited. The beach bar does not have a large designated parking area, so cars are generally left in available spots along the access road and in the vicinity of the establishment. During July and August, finding a free space nearby is not guaranteed, making it more practical to walk or use a scooter from Stomorska. When parking, care should be taken not to obstruct the local road or access to private homes.

The main attraction of Beach Bar Africa is its location right by the sea. The terrace is laid out along the coast, offering an open view towards the north and the sea channel between Šolta and the mainland. The bar is connected to a small pebble cove below the establishment, allowing for easy access to swimming. The beach is not large and fills up quickly during the busiest part of the day. Entry into the water is mostly over pebbles and stones, so water shoes can be beneficial, especially for children and those sensitive to uneven surfaces.

The offerings are primarily focused on drinks. Coffee, beer, soft drinks, lemonades, and various cocktails are available, with cocktails often highlighted as a distinctive part of the menu. Sun loungers and umbrellas are set up around the terrace and beach area, but their number and availability depend on the season and the current organisation of the bar. The establishment also provides Wi-Fi, and music plays an important role in the atmosphere, particularly later in the day and into the evening. Occasionally, livelier evenings and entertainment programmes are organised, so it is advisable to check the bar's current announcements before your visit.

Beach Bar Africa is not a restaurant with an extensive menu but is primarily a seasonal cocktail and beach bar. For a full lunch or dinner, the centre of Stomorska is a better choice, where there are several taverns and restaurants. People come here mainly for drinks by the sea, swimming at the small beach, and to enjoy a quieter atmosphere away from the busiest part of the town.
