Agrotourism Hrapoćuša | Dinner Among the Vineyards and Olive Trees in Dol on Brač

Agrotourism Hrapoćuša is located in the village of Dol above Postira, in the interior of Brač, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and stone dry walls. The estate is accessed via a narrow local road through a quiet part of the island, making the journey feel more like a visit to a family estate than to a traditional restaurant. This sense of connection remains the strongest aspect of this place — dinner takes place outdoors among the vines, gardens, and stone houses without the typical restaurant atmosphere.

The venue is known for traditional Dalmatian food prepared from local ingredients, with dishes that are cooked slowly, mainly under a bell or on a spit. The most commonly ordered items include lamb and veal under a bell, octopus, homemade prosciutto, Brač cheeses, and vegetables from their own garden. Most dishes are prepared in advance and need to be reserved at least a day ahead, especially the bell-cooked meals, which are the main reason many people visit.

Alongside the food, they serve their own wine and homemade liqueurs, with almost the entire menu based on products from the family farm or nearby Brač estates. Offerings include homemade olive oil, wine, lamb from their own breeding, and the traditional Brač cake hrapoćuša, after which the agrotourism is named.

The restaurant space is completely open to nature, without enclosed halls or modern tourist infrastructure. Tables are arranged among the vineyards and olive trees, so dinner proceeds at a slower pace than in typical seaside restaurants. In the evening, the scent of pine, earth, and grilling is particularly noticeable, and the entire area remains very quiet due to the absence of traffic and crowds typical of coastal locations.

It is important to know that reservations are practically mandatory, especially during the summer, as the restaurant operates with a limited number of tables and most dishes require long preparation times. Payment is made in cash, so it is advisable to have that prepared in advance.

Agrotourism Hrapoćuša is not a place for a quick lunch after the beach, but rather a dinner destination that invites visitors to the interior of the island for a few hours. Due to its location among the vineyards and the method of food preparation, this place feels quite different from restaurants along the Brač coast.
