The Medieval church of St Philip and Jacob is situated on a hidden little hill above Soline. It is mentioned in the documents already in the second half of the 14th century. During the French rule, it was desacralized, but in the 1820s the Austrian government gave it to the Soline population to take care of it. Then it was restored and returned to liturgy. It is a single-nave church with a protruding apse towards the south. It was built in the rural Romanesque style as we can find elsewhere on the island of Krk. The entry façade has a roof distaff with a bell summoning the believers to the mass.
