Church of St. Nicholas the Traveler is located on the top of the peninsula above Sandy Bay in Pula. The church was opened in 2001 by Rev. Ivan Milovan, bishop of Poreč and Pula. Since then, Holy Mass has been regularly held on Sundays and holidays at 9.30. Inside the church is a marble statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary and an altar painting of St. Nicholas. It is dedicated to St. Nicholas the patron saint of sailors and passengers. The church is of modern style and has the shape of a nave.
