The Ethnographic Museum of Split is located right next to Peristyle, the central square of the Palace, in a building that already has exceptional cultural and historical and architectural importance, and with the presentation of extremely valuable ethnographic collections that present to us the former life of the inhabitants of Split, the island and Zagora, a unique cultural complement to the tourist tour of the city of Split. What makes this museum unique is the fact that the museum is located at the place where in the 4th century the imperial chambers, or bedrooms of Emperor Diocletian, were located, as the most intimate part of the Palace.
