Women's Benedictine Monastery of St. Nicholas was founded in 1064 with the merit of St. Ivan Trogir, and celebrated 950 years of its continuous existence on the day of his patron saint. Nicholas (06 December 2014). The monastery is located next to the walls in the southeastern part of Trogir. Today, only three Benedictine sisters live there. It is impossible to see it from the inside for the very way of life and the vows of this order. The bell tower that contributes to the mystery of events within the walls with its "lacy" openings on the openings.
