Inkognito Beach Bar | Cocktails Among the Pines by the Sea in Postira

Inkognito Beach Bar is situated along the coastal promenade on the eastern side of Postira, nestled between the town centre and the beaches leading to Mala Lozna. Located just a few metres from the sea, hidden among the pines, it feels more like a small lounge nook by the shore than a traditional beach bar.

The first impression upon arriving at Inkognito is how well the entire space integrates with nature. Tables and seating areas are arranged among the pine trees, and the sea is visible through the branches at all times. Rather than a large concrete terrace, the emphasis here is on shade, wood, fairy lights, and a relaxed atmosphere that particularly comes to life in the evening.

During the day, most guests come from nearby beaches for a coffee, a cold drink, or a brief respite from the sun. The sea is just below the bar, so it’s not unusual to see people arriving in swimwear, sitting down for a drink, and then returning to the beach. This connection to the shore gives the place a much more laid-back character compared to bars in the centre of Postira.

The menu primarily revolves around cocktails, gin and tonics, wine, craft and standard beers, iced coffees, and various refreshing summer drinks. Cocktails are the main draw for most visitors in the evening, with fruity combinations, Mojitos, and house special cocktails that change occasionally throughout the season being particularly popular.

As it is not a restaurant, the food offering is simpler. You can find light snacks and small bites to accompany your drinks, but most people come here primarily for the atmosphere and the sea view.

As sunset approaches, the atmosphere transforms completely. As the heat subsides, the terrace begins to fill up, the music becomes more pronounced, and the entire space takes on a nearly festival-like vibe. It is not a large party bar nor a venue with loud night programmes until dawn, but during the summer, DJ nights, sunset gatherings, and special music events are often organised, attracting many people from Postira and the surrounding areas.

What stands out is that a significant number of guests tend to stay much longer than they initially planned. Many drop in for a drink after the beach and end up staying until dusk, as the place looks entirely different in the evening compared to during the day. The fairy lights among the pines, the sound of the sea in the background, and the view of the illuminated coast give Inkognito an atmosphere that is hard to find in the busier parts of the island.

If you are looking for a spot for cocktails by the sea without the hustle and bustle of the promenade and typical tourist noise, Inkognito is one of those places that people often discover by chance while strolling — and then return to multiple times during their holiday.
