WTA 125K Series Bol Open 2017 is a second edition of women's tennis tournament and will take place in the beautiful, picturesque place Bol, on the island of Brač, from 5th till 11th June. (final week of Roland Garros).
Bol has entered WTA calendar exclusively in 2016 (alongside with US San Antonio and New York) and represents the only WTA tournament in Southeastern Europe. WTA 125K Series tournament in Bol is one of only two WTA tournaments which is organized on an island which makes it even more special. However, Bol is already recognizable tennis destination as it previously hosted WTA tournament which was called "Croatian Bol Ladies Open".
The tournament's first edition was held in late April 1991, and then again every year from 1996 to 2003. Through years, tournament was visited by many famous tennis stars such as Anna Kournikova, Amelie Mauresmo, Elena Dementieva, Kim Clijsters, Lleyton Hewitt, Iva Majoli, Katarina Srebotnik, Sandrine Testud, Patty Schnyder, Vera Zvonareva etc. So, after 13 years, WTA tournament came back last year in Bol.
This year we continue our tennis journey in this wonderful place, a real gem of nature. Enjoy a good tennis and good vibrations in Bol on the island of Brač.
