Pasarela Restaurant in Rogač – Dinner by the Sea on the Quieter Side of the Bay

Pasarela Restaurant is situated on the western side of Rogač Bay, along the road leading to Banje Beach. While it is not directly next to the ferry terminal, it is close enough for a short walk from the port. The terrace is positioned just above the sea, on several stone levels, allowing diners to sit almost at the water's edge, with views of the boats and ferries across the bay.

Pasarela is a preferred spot in Rogač for those seeking a quieter lunch or dinner by the sea, without the hustle and bustle of a busy port. The terrace is pleasant during the day, but it is particularly lovely in the evening when the sun begins to set and the bay gradually calms down. Tables at the edge of the terrace are in high demand during this time, so it is advisable to make a reservation in advance, especially in July and August.

The menu focuses on Dalmatian and Mediterranean cuisine, with fish, squid, octopus, prawns, shellfish, risottos, and pasta with seafood being the most popular choices. The selection of fresh fish varies depending on the day's catch, so it is best to inquire about availability upon arrival. When ordering whole fish, it is wise to check the weight and total price before preparation, particularly when ordering for two or more people.

Care should be taken not to block access to surrounding houses.

Walking from the ferry port to Pasarela takes approximately ten minutes. Although the restaurant is visible across the bay, it is necessary to navigate around its inner part. The path is not demanding, but it is wise to allow sufficient time if visiting Šolta for only a few hours or if catching a specific ferry after dinner.

In front of the restaurant, there is a small jetty, making Pasarela appealing to guests arriving by boat. There are not many berths available, and one should not assume that a space will always be free. During the summer, it is best to arrange arrival in advance, especially if wishing to reserve both a table and a spot for the boat simultaneously.

Banje Beach is located a little further along the same side of the bay, so lunch at Pasarela can easily be combined with swimming. The restaurant is not a beach bar and does not have a large private beach, but the sea is right below the terrace, giving the entire space a genuine coastal atmosphere.
